Inspection Scheduled

The house inspector will meet us on Monday, February 5 at 4pm for the home inspection. One more detail to get us closer.

If only it was as easy to talk to the 401K folks today. Oy!

We have a house !!!

The offer on 4890 Arlington Road has been accepted today. Hurray !!! Next steps will be to get all the things properly inspected and once that is all good, the bleeding (read: mortgage payments) will begin, but we couldn't be happier. Below you can find some more details on the house...

What exciting news!!!! I am so anxious to meet Niels in a few weeks when I visit Jen and Niels in Ohio. It is wonderful to hear the joy in her voice. I am also looking forward to seeing the new home Niels just purchased!!!! LOVE YA BOTH!!!!

Possible dates

We've been toying with certain dates in our minds and so far two dates are standing out:
- 7/27/07: Easy to remember and plenty of sevens
- 7/29/07: Exactly 40 years from when Jen's parents got married

Since we don't know about locations, ministers or other resource availability we could pick other dates as well, but for now we'll focus around end of July.

Wedding locations

We've been looking at certain locations where to hold the ceremony and the reception. So far we've been looking at places of worship or places where we might be fairly frequently to constantly remind us of our (upcoming) commitment to God and ourselves.

Counter-offer received

We just got a call from our realtor that he received a counter-offer on the house at 4890 Arlington Road in Uniontown (Green). I'm off picking-up Jen and we'll meet him to discuss around 8.30pm. With a little bit of luck we might have a house today!!
