In Other News...

Since Niels gave the latest on the house, I thought I'd give an update on wedding news. Mom came up last Thursday to meet Niels. We were hoping she could have been around for the closing but she missed it by a day. Our realtor was kind enough to let us in to show it to her. She gave her stamp of approval...and lots of great ideas for how to get it all warm and cozy.

We were able to work on a second objective...shopping for a pretty white dress!!! Of course, since Niels is part of this blog, I can't say much about it. It feels kinda weird planning something like this without talking to Niels about it, but I'm really looking forward to seeing the look on his face when he sees me in it for the first time!
